I'm down to 225 pounds. I haven't been at this weight since 1994 when we had a car accident. I steadily put on weight after the accident due to my limited mobility and pain that made it difficult to do much of anything.
It feels so awesome to be this thin. My husband told me that my butt looked great when we were shopping today. Doesn't he know how to make a girl feel special? <grin>
The only thing that bothers me is the hair loss. I'm still losing it and I thought it would be slowing down by now. Other than that I'm not having any of the problems I hear others having. I don't have constant nausea and vomiting, but then again I don't eat large amounts of sugar or push the limit on what my stomach can handle.
I remember eating a brownie about a month ago. It was delicious, but I sure paid for it when the dumping hit me. No more iced brownies for me! I never really had much of a craving for high sugar items, except pop, to begin with so I don't feel like I'm depriving myself.
I'm still working on my book about this surgery and hoping to hear from an agent.
Denise
